Edward L. Clark served as pastor of the Church of the Puritans, Presbyterian in New York City, New York from 1872 to 1893. The cornerstone for this building was laid on June 26, 1873. The original name of the church was the Second Presbyterian Church of Harlem.
The Church of the Puritans, Presbyterian was purchased in 1936 and became known as St. Ambrose Episcopal Church (picture taken in 2014).
Edward Lord Clark is buried at Forest Hills Cemetery and Crematory, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
