The William Tennent III historical marker is located in Stateburg, South Carolina.
William Tennent, III is honored with this plaque at the Unitarian Church Cemetery, Charleston, South Carolina, where his wife is buried.. This church was originally an adjunct meeting house to the Independent, or Circular, Church, and became Unitarian in the 1830's. Tennent himself is buried in an unmarked grave at Singleton’s Graveyard, near Wedgefield, South Carolina. (Photo credit: R. Andrew Myers)
